Description
Taking the fired form of Lee Lapthorne's Violet urn design and creating my own decoration had been a very exciting process. Lee adapted his raw designs to be fired at stoneware temperatures to enable my glazing techniques to be applied
The surface is washed with oxides to highlight the texture of the clay and what follows is a very organic process of shapes, forms and hues, building up layers of colours to create depth.
All my creative designs are inspired by the landscape, nature and the life around me.
